Olivia Hodson Cancer Fund

The 2017 Garden Party raised over £30,000 for the Olivia Hodson Cancer Fund, which was established in 1997, in memory of Olivia who was just two and a half years old when she died from a malignant germ cell tumour. As a Special Purpose Fund within Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, our work supports childhood cancer and palliative care projects at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the UCL Institute of Child Health.

Since 1997, the fund has raised over £2 million supporting over 60 projects. 100% of money donated goes towards funding projects, there are no administrative costs.

The ARRT Society's 2016 Garden Party raised over £28,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, fully funding a new anaesthetic machine for one of their operating theatres and more.

GOSHCC raises money for the hospital so it can provide world-class care and to pioneer new treatments and cures for childhood illnesses. With over 255,000 patient visits every year, they need your support to help them give hope to their young patients and their families.

The ARRT Society is proud, that it’s inaugural event raised over $10,000 for Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC). Two of the ARRT Society’s trustees have visited the hospital and all the trustees have met and maintain an active dialogue with the managing director, senior medical staff and trustees of the hospital.

AHC is the largest children’s hospital in Cambodia. The hospital treats 150,000+ children a year and provides a full range of paediatric medical care - including open heart surgery. All healthcare is free to all. Despite it's scale and offering, AHC's budget is only US$6 million/year (£4m) and is funded entirely by charitable donations. Therefore, all donations really make an impact. To put Cambodia in context: 6 million people live on less than USD1.25/day. 29% of Cambodians under five are stunted by malnutrition. 87% have no access to basic healthcare. The need is great.
